Two Brothers from Bannock County, Idaho bought the land that Lava Hillside Suites and The Rooftop Bar sits on in 2016 with the money they had both saved up after a combined 8 deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and other counties in the middle east. In 2017, they hired a well Witcher to search for hot water on the property. in the fall of that same year, they started construction on the nearly 700 yard concrete structure that has the natural hot water of Lava flowing through the concrete floors to heat the facility in the winter. The project took exactly 2 years with both brothers and their father working everyday after work to try to complete the project. Today, the facility can host events up to 500 people and accommodate 50 people for overnight accommodations.
